Modern Processional Music

We recently had the pleasure of accompanying our favourite Songbird Rae-Helen Fisenden
at St Brigids Catholic Church.
The lucky bride walked into an exquisite rendition of La Novia , The Wedding Song.
The song was originally written in Spanish by Chilean Musician Joaquin Prieto in 1958 and translated into English by Fred Jay, hitting the top of the charts in the 1960's. There is a musical allusion to Schubert's well known and loved Ave Maria, which we often perform at Catholic Services.

Stewarts @ Brookleigh, Upper Swan

VIOLINIST- PASCALE WHITING

CELLIST - EMMA MCCOY

Stewarts at Brookleigh , Upper Swan, is a unique venue, offering a great range of outdoor options for Ceremonies, from the Stables (for something rustic), to the Homestead (limestone grandeur and tall pine trees), the Gazebo ( overlooking the lake and pastoral paddocks filled with horses grazing on the green grass) , the Stewarts Restaurant (quaint, yet funky French Provence chic) and of course, the actual Equestrian Arena ( for any Ben Hur enthusiasts).
The hot temperatures have been kicking in of late, but despite Mother Nature turning up the heat, all went very smoothly at Kevin and Samantha's wedding at Brookleigh. Popular Celebrant, Sue Henthorn officiated, looking calm, unflustered and immaculately attired , while the string trio, (also looking calm, unflustered and immaculately attired) provided a selection from Handel's ' Water Music' to keep every one in a 'cool' mood prior to the arrival of the Bride. The two photos above were kindly supplied by Dave Henthorn, from Profesional Photgraphics. Click on the title above to see more of Dave's creative genius on Sue's 'Marry Me ' website.
